The North Face Women's Metropolis Gloves are stylish, warm and versatile mitts which have evolved from a technical pedigree giving them the ability to keep your digits warm and cosy through the cold months whether you be at home or off to somewhere colder.Technical features such as 5 dimensional fit and radiametric articulation give the Metropolis Gloves their comfort and protection from the cold by allowing the gloves to move and circulate with your hands and fingers at the same time.
For the insulation North Face have used a combination of Primaloft, for the palm insulation, and Heatseeker for the back. Both insulating materials are synthetic, therefore they both perform very well in the wet and the dry. Finally to block the cold out there's a cuff gasket, which also helps keep the heat in.

Rip Stop - This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing. |
