The North Face Women’s Nuptse Jacket is a true classic, a regular best seller that keeps you warm when the thermometer drops but still looks good apres ski or taking the dog for a walk. The North Face have added 700+ fill down for insulation and a sewn through construction to keep the down in place the Nuptse Jacket simply shuts out the winter. The cut is pretty straight; giving a standard fit ideal for going on over other layers, though the soft lining has a reassuringly warm touch even on T shirted arms and the hem adjusts with a cinch cord. North face give you a pair of zipped pockets for keeping your hands warm, and the sleeve cuffs have nice chunky Velcro adjusters to keep the elements out. On the inside you get a single zipped pocket.The North Face Nuptse Jacket's shoulders have a double layer of taffeta for added wear resistance, with the main body using ripstop nylon on the outside with a DWR coating to keep the down dry till you can find shelter. The Nuptse Jacket compresses well for packing or stuffs into its own internal pocket for the perfect luxury wild camping pillow, and the high loft down soon re-inflates to its full insulating height on unpacking

700 Fill Power Down In the Nuptse Jacket provides a very high level of warmth to weight keeping you warm without being heavy and bulky. Products made with 700 fill power down will be extremely compressible ensuring they take up as little room as possible in your pack. |

Stitched Through Construction - Down garments and equipment constructed using a stitch through construction which helps keep down in place and reduce clumping. This construction is used mostly on mid to low weight down items. |

Rip Stop - This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on the North Face Nuptse Jacket. |

Great jacket. Light but lovely and warm. I bought the mulberry size 12 and is a good fit. Everyone has been noticing it and commenting that they would like one. Can wear a waterproof over the top. I bought this jacket as the zip on my other one that i loved and am sooo glad that I did, its the most comfiest jacket I have ever owned! I recently took it to Lapland and used it as a comfy pillow on the late night flight so got a good sleep and it also upstood temperatures of -29 when i was there...with other thermals and layers on underneath of course but it was warm and comfortable all the holiday. Im a size 10 and 5' 6 so the small was a perfect fit for a couple of layers and a fleece underneath. would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a warm comfortable light as air jacket that does its job aswell as looking good, i have the loganberry and its more pink that red but great colour.REVIEW BY: moonwaffle

As my title suggests;This jacket is lovely & warm even in sub zero temps. I can go out with this wearing only a t-shirt underneath & I'll still be nice & toasty...
If your looking for a warm winter jacket then I would really recommend considering this 1 as I'm so glad now that I bought it.

Better than expected
Having been admiring my husbands North Face body warmer for a while, I decided to try the jacket version. It has kept me warm in the recent very cold weather and attracted lots of comments from friends and family about its lovely colour and styling. Would definitely recommend!

Cosiest Jacket!
Lovely warm cosy jacket.
The small is a good fit for me but at 5' 7'' as with other reviewers a few extra centimetres in body and arm length would have made this an excellent jacket. A bit more expensive than some on the market so was between 3 and 4 stars, feeling generous as it's Christmas!
