Weight: 1000g / 35ozWINDWALL Exclusive to The North Face, WindWall is a fleece fabric that retains the comfort, flexibility, and breathability of traditional fleece while eliminating wind chill. Traditional fleece tests at 200 CFM, a relatively porous rating compared to WindWall, which rates between 10 and 40 CFM. Some WindWall fabrics achieve wind resistance through their densely knit construction, while others use bonding and lamination technologies.
All WindWall fabrics cut 80 to 95% of wind, keeping the outdoor athlete warm while allowing enough airflow to ensure a dry and comfortable fit.

I've only just used the fleece, but I can thoroughly recommend it. Half way up the mountain here, we had biting winds. No gloves with me but the pockets kept my hands lovely and warm. I only wished I could tighten the hood so that it would stay on my head.REVIEW BY: snowwhite
