For me this is always the first thing I think of when it comes to sleeping mats. When keeping your pack weight and size small is crucial, there still isn't a better solution than the Thermarest Neoairs. They take a little more pumping up than your normal Thermarests, but you get a good nights kip and it then disappears in to your rucksack.

Havibng opted for short sleeping mats to save weight, and then suffered for it in extreme cold conditions, I decided to go full length, this was a great choice, very comfortable and still light weight and not bulky.REVIEW BY: kiwirichard
