Product Description

The Thermarest Neoair XTherm Small Inflatable Mattress is brand new for 2012 and is Thermarest's lightest and warmest backpacking mattress in their Neoair collection. The original Neoair was introduced in 2009 and made a massive impact on the inflatable sleeping mattress category with it's ground breaking combination of technology, design and materials.

The Neoair XTherm Small carries on this tradition and features a fire warming 5.7 R Value but weighs just a miniscule 310 grammes! It manages to generate such warmth with it's patent pending NeoAir Reflective Barrier. This divides the inside up in to multiple heat reflecting layers which stop body warmth disappearing in to the ground. You then have a triangular core matrix which further divides these layers up, trapping warm air whilst keeping the mattress stable and supremely comfortable for sleeping on.

We reckon that this makes the XTherm just fine for camping in the snow and colder climates where you might take two mattresses currently. We've slept on each of the various Neoairs and have been seriously impressed with all of them. Our top tip is not quite inflate them to their maximum capacity to get the most comfortable nights kip.

The Xtherm comes with a pump sack and repair kit included. If you are cold weather camping and need the warmest, lightest mattress going, it has to be the Neoair XTherm Inflatable Mattress.
