Updated for 2012 The Prolite Plus is Therm-a-Rest's warmest self-inflating mattress. It's perfect for those who want to stay warm on a winters night outdoors, but need to keep their gear weight as low as possible. The ProLite Plus uses Thermarests pateneted foam-perforating technology to provide exceptional warmth without adding weight or bulk and it's now 10% lighter than the previous Prolite Plus.It’s substantial enough to keep you comfortable while mountaineering or on ski tours, yet rolls up small and light enough that you’ll have no problem taking it wherever you want to go. Therm-a-Rest's unique, diagonal-cut high performance foam insulation gives you the most efficient insulation possible, while the tapered design eliminates excess weight and helps the mat to roll up ultra-compact. Bottom grips and the textured top surface keep the mattress where you want it while you sleep - no sliding!

Wasn't convinced...but then I slept on it

I was really sceptical about this! I spoke to a number of the webtogs staff about it, all of whom who had tried it and raved about it. So, given the 60 day trial, I ordered one.I was shocked at how small this thing was when packed down. It was also very light. My scepticism grew!
It is easy to inflate - a few breaths and away you go. You have to leave it inflated for a night or so before using it, so give yourself a couple days leeway when ordering.
When I lay on it - my scepticism instantly vanished, and I could feel what the webtogs guys were on about.
Having used it for a week on a camping trip - I can honestly say, I am a convert! It is absolutely brilliant!
The only downside is that they recommend you store it open and flat, so you'll need space under your bed to keep it.

Nice and compact
As someone who does not believe in carrying anything outside of my ruchsack be it a tent, sleeping mat or the ultimate no no your sleeping bag , I found the compact nature of the Prolite Plus sleeping mat very good and the afforded comfort excellent.
