Bought these as Webtogs don't stock Bridgedale Trail Ultra Lightweight. Although they perform well, the Bridgedales are a better fit and feel more comfortable after a long walk - say about 10 miles.

A is for X Socks
I discovered X Socks about a year ago and have worn nothing else since. They may seem quite expensive but then decent socks are anyway. It's hard to describe the way they are better than others but they exude quality. I love the fact that there are separate fittings for left and right feet - helpful lettering on the sides too so you can tell which is which in twilight. It's important to check out your intended usage as there are many different styles. Incidentally, they don't look anything like as weird as they tend to on the internet. And they are guaranteed for 2 years. You can even register them on the company website. Bit like owning a Rolls really. The amount of jargon on the packaging is truly overwhelming - but don't let that put you off. Webtogs service immaculate as usual.
