VAT

Along with all other retailers, VAT is levied on all orders that are made with us. There are however a couple of exceptions to this rule and we have listed them all below.

BFPO Orders

We can refund VAT on items sold by Webtogs and sent to BFPO addresses, as long as the address is located outside of the EU. In order to request a VAT refund for a BFPO address outside of the EU, please email us once your order has been dispatched. Remember to include the order number with your request. We do not currently have the facility to refund VAT for BFPO orders within the EU.

Non European Union orders

For customers outside of the EU, or in countries where VAT isn't applicable, VAT is not charged.  The amounts you see in the checkout pages of the site should be VAT-free.

If you order from outside the EU but have the item shipped to a EU country you will be charged VAT, you will be able to claim this VAT back from customs at the point of exit from the EU; please remember if you export the good yourself Webtogs will not be able to refund the VAT paid.

Import Taxes

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

We suggest you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
