How to find what you want

The easiest way to find gear on webtogs, is to type the name of the product in the search box, found at the top of just about every page. If you don't know exactly what you are after, type a more general phrase, such as "Waterproof jacket" or "sandals".

You can also use the links on the left of each page to browse webtogs.co.uk and narrow down your search. The side menu allows you to narrow your search by category, for example "footwear" and then "approach shoes". You can also use the links on the left to narrow your choice by brand.

Getting more information on a product

Once you find a product you like, either click the title or the image of the product, to see it in more detail. From here you can read the description and features, read reviews by other customers, watch a video of the product and see more product images, often showing close-ups of features, or different angles.

You can also click on the product image, to see a larger, more detailed, version.

If you're after more technical information on a product, for example it's weight, or the material it's made from, roll your mouse over the "Tech Specs" tab, above the product title.

Adding a product to your shopping basket

Once you've decided to buy a product, you need to add it to your shopping basket. Much of the gear on webtogs.co.uk comes in different sizes and colours, so, if relevant, you will need to select a colour and a size.

To select a colour, click on the small picture of the product, below the product title. Next, select a size, by clicking on it. If a particular size has a line through it, and can't be clicked, this means it's out of stock.

Now, simply click the "Add to basket" button, on the right. This will take you to your shopping basket page.

The shopping basket page

Your shopping basket holds the gear you want to buy, but have not yet checked out. You can increase the quantity of each item, remove items and save items to your gear list, for purchase at a later date.

To proceed straight to checkout, just click the green 'checkout' button on the right.

To browse for more gear, without checking out, click the 'continue shopping' button, at the top left of the page. This will take you back to the last search you made on webtogs.co.uk.

We remember the contents of your shopping basket for 30 days, so you can come back and checkout your gear at a later date.

Once you have clicked the checkout button, you will be taken to the first step of checkout, where you will create your account.

Creating an account on webtogs.co.uk

To order from webtogs.co.uk, you first need to create your account. This is quick and completely free. We use your email address to identify you when you come back to webtogs.co.uk. We also use your email address to keep you updated on the progress of any order you've placed with us.

Your account area will contain information that's personal to you, such as your address. For this reason, you need to create a password. You will need to use this password to access your account area and to buy gear from webtogs.co.uk. It's important that you don't share this password with anyone else.

After you've created your account, you will be taken to the first checkout page.

Using our checkout system

To buy a product on webtogs.co.uk, you need to "check out" your shopping basket. During the checkout process, you will tell us where you want your gear sent and how you will be paying for it.

Once you have used our checkout system for the first time, we remember your settings, making it much easier and faster to checkout gear in the future.

Entering your delivery address

Firstly, you need to tell us where you would like your gear delivered to. Each time you select a box to fill in, a help prompt will give your further information and guidance.

Entering your payment card details

Next, you need to enter either a credit or debit card. Again, follow the promts on screen next to each box. Once you have entered your card details, you need to give us your billing address. You can use the delivery address you entered on the previous screen, if your billing and delivery address are the same.

Confirming your order

The order confirmation page shows you the items in your order and any delivery costs. Simply click the green 'Confrim Order' button, and your order will be placed.

We will then authorise your payment card and display a summary of your order.
