Montane lead the industry in two main respects: achieving the lightest weight and highest breathability possible in their clothing. They designed and manufactured the world’s first super-packable, windproof windshirt, were the first brand in the industry to adopt highly breathable eVent waterproof fabrics, and have demonstrated that lightweight doesn’t have to mean fragile with their popular Terra Pant range. They’ve also applied their lightweight philosophy to rucksacks and backpacks for a variety of outdoor uses.
For approaching 20 years, Montane have worked alongside outdoor professionals in some of the harshest mountain and polar environments worldwide, providing them with proofing against the elements. In turn, such extreme usage has acted as the proving ground for Montane product design and testing, so you can be sure that your Montane garment won’t fail you on your own mountain adventures.
As you can probably tell, here at Webtogs we’re big fans of Montane’s lightweight, breathable approach to outdoor kit, and stock an extensive range of Montane clothing and equipment from waterproof shells, to trousers and rucksacks. All of them adhere to the Montane brand ethos: Further. Faster.
Use the Minimus Smock as an emergency piece or if you're someone who's after a true users top then it's an awesome shell to have in your arsenal against bad weather. Runner, cyclists and climbers look out for this one.
