Nemo

When Cam Brensinger founded Nemo in 2002, his intention was to bring advanced engineering and design into the industry, the likes of which had not yet been seen in outdoor equipment. This quest began in the field in which Brensinger saw the biggest scope for innovation and recognition; tent design. Using revolutionary AirSupported technology, which replaced poles with with inflatable air beams, Nemo were able to streamline the pack-size and weight of tents such as the Nemo Morpho, yet retain excellent space and support.

This radical approach set the scene for them to clinch the 2005 ISPO BrandNew Award recognising the most innovative products in the outdoor industry. Applying their technologically advanced approach to product design to everything from tents to sleeping mats, pillows and travel accessories from then on, Nemo have gone from strength to strength – a true outdoor industry success story for the 21st century.

Through a combination of the development of fabrics, outside-the-box design, and a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental causes, Nemo have become true trailblazers in the outdoor equipment market. As such we are proud to be one of the pioneering stockists of Nemo tents and equipment in Europe. Whether you go for one of their air-supported tents, a rugged, poled mountain tent like the Losi 3P, or one of their excellent air-filled sleep mats, you’re bound to be impressed.

Rip Stop is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven rip-stop reinforcement threads in a cross hatch pattern. It's woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Rip-stop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing.
